Flexself
FlexelF is the new creation by Àngels Margarit/cia. Mudances for general audiences, an interdisciplinary piece that works round the idea of flexibility, reversibility, transformation, reflex… The show is born of the word, and the word FlexelF is born of the movement of a point that becomes line, creates whorls, is mirrored and repeated. FlexelF speaks to us of the writing of the body on space, ephemeral calligraphy of exotic languages and playful geometries. Everything in FlexelF moves, folds, wrinkles, each form is transformed and invites us to go on voyages, to discover that not everything is what it appears to be, or to invent what we seem to be seeing. FlexelF is a flexible and reversible word we stretch to unfold prismed, wrinkled stories, surprises and secrets, in an elastic and subjective time. In flexelf the body and movement are essential, but in dialogue with different materials that are integrated in an indiscernible way: costumes-sculptures, objects that dance, textile and domestic characters, toys, musics, sounds, images that trick us, light…
FlexelF es la nueva creación de Àngels Margarit/cia. Mudances para todos los públicos, una pieza interdisciplinar que trabaja alrededor de la idea de flexibilidad, reversibilidad, transformación, reflejo… El espectáculo nace de la palabra y la palabra FlexelF nace del movimiento de un punto que se convierte en línea, se enrosca, se refleja y se repite. FlexelF nos habla de la escritura del cuerpo en el espacio, caligrafía efímera de lenguas exóticas y geometrías juguetonas. Todo lo que hay en FlexelF se mueve, se dobla o se arruga; cada forma se transforma y nos invita a viajar, a descubrir que no todo es lo que parece o a inventar qué parece lo que vemos. FlexelF es una palabra flexible y reversible que estiramos para desplegar historias plisadas y arrugadas, sorpresas y secretos, en un tiempo elástico y subjetivo. En FlexelF el cuerpo y el movimiento son esenciales, pero en diálogo con materiales diversos que se integran indivisiblemente en toda la creación: vestuarios escultura, objetos que bailan, personajes textiles y domésticos, juguetes, músicas, sonidos, imágenes que nos engañan, luz…
